Ep 97. Joel Stewart, Manna Restaurant
Growing up in Hong Kong, Joel was working in the restaurant business, and still operates a variety of restaurants there. Seeing a need for kids gyms that are more senstive towards the Asian Culture, he got his first taste of franchising.
In 20017, Joel and his wife moved to Manila and Joel saw the need for healthy, sustainable food options that were affordably priced. Wanting to make healthy as well as vegetarian and vegan more accessible and more “normal”, Joel opened MANNA Restaurant in Marikina City. With the intention to franchise from the get-go, Manna has already sold 8 franchises in the 8-months since opening and in the process of expanding to Australia.
