Ep 8. Nini Daing – myHarapan

In this episode, JD engages in an enlightening conversation about aiding Malaysian youth with myHarapan CEO, Nini Daing.

Since its establishment in August 2010, the Youth Trust Foundation, an independent Not-For-Profit based in Malaysia also known as myHarapan, has been dedicated towards empowering young Malaysians by supporting youth projects and initiatives that contribute to current nation-building efforts. The organisation achieves this through providing various platforms and opportunities that help them scale, sustain, expand and multiply their impact. Some of the organization’s most notable projects include (1) SUNCROX, a social business pioneered by well qualified and experienced engineers including those from Solar Energy Research Institute (SERI-UKM) in developing new products, testing out fresh ideas and improving on existing models, as well as (2) HOSPITAL BEYOND BOUNDARIES (HBB), an initiative dedicated towards improving the health of vulnerable communities in Cambodia through sustainable health care efforts.
